Do you need help searching on iBistro?
The Library Catalogue is a large database. Databases are made up of records and records are made up of different fields. Each item has its own catalogue record, which is broken into separate fields (e.g. title, author, ISBN, publisher, date etc).
Use AND between the words when you are searching, for example, if you are searching for Flora's Lot by Katie Fforde, you need to type the following in the main search box: Fforde AND Flora's

Logging on to iBistro
A PIN has replaced your old password. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your library membership number.
To login:
Once logged in you'll be able to renew the items out on loan to you, place some holds and use Hillingdon's e-Subscription services. Remember to change your PIN to something more memorable for you.
A faster service by email
In due course you will have the option of choosing to be emailed rather than being notified through the post. Emails can tell you when a book that you have reserved is ready for collection or alert you if an item you have borrowed is overdue. You can also find out about library news.

Are you trying to search for an item but are unsure about which search terms to use? Use Find It Fast!
Find It Fast!
Find it Fast! allows you to search iBistro by popular subject categories. For example the Animals category provides pre-defined searches for pets, fish, mammals, and within each of these there are further pre-defined searches. Find It Fast will soon include fiction searches, such as the Richard & Judy's BookClub list!
The children's version of Find It Fast will be Kids Library and will contain stories and information subject areas to help children with their homework.
