ECDL Testing Sessions

Join us for a support session.

Testing sessions are currently only held at Uxbridge Central Library, but we offer 3 - 7 sessions per month.

In order to book your test you must contact the Learning Team by completing the form below or by emailing ecdlsupport@hillingdongrid.org at least 7 working days prior to the date of the testing session you wish to attend. If you are booking your first test, you will need to purchase a log book, which we keep for you, costing £28 and each test you wish to take (each test costs £15). You can sit up to two different tests during any testing session. You must also pay for your logbook and/or test(s) at least 7 working days prior to the date of the testing session(s) you wish to attend.

We would strongly suggest for you to join one of our free support sessions or try out at least one of our electronic diagnostic tests to ensure that you are ready for the real exam, as retakes also cost £15. If you have purchased the learning from us you also have access to electronic diagnostic tests for modules 1,2,3,4 and 7 from our NetgLearning website. If you are only doing the testing with us we can arrange for you to also have access to these electronic diagnostic tests once you have purchased the logbook (£28) and your test(s). We also provide access to paper-based samples from the NetgLearning website free of charge.

Additionally you can purchase an Enlight diagnostic test for any of the modules, but in particular modules 5 and 6 for £5 each - please fill in the online form below if you wish to purchase any of these. Paper-based samples are available free of charge from the British Computer Society website (please note that these are half the length of a real paper). You can also download the ECDL syllabus. If you are taking tests in modules 1,2 or 7 after 1st January 2008, please note you will be tested in version 4.5 so please ensure you check the syllabus updates prior to taking the test.

Please note that if you cannot attend the Tuesday evening sessions at 5pm, please ensure you leave a comment in the form below stating the time you can attend so we know when to expect you. If after booking a session you find that you can no longer attend please email ecdlsupport@hillingdongrid.org or phone 01895 250711 so that your place can be offered to another candidate.

Until further notice there will not be any ECDL Testing Sessions held at Harlington Library Learning Centre.

Please note that your testing session attendance is booked with the Learning Team when you submit this form. We will normally only contact you if there is a problem or to obtain payment from you. Please pay for your logbook / tests at least 7 days prior to the testing date. Please ensure you supply a contact number and if possible an email address that we can use to contact you as we cannot allow you to sit a test if you have not paid for it. We take cash or cheque only, made payable to London Borough of Hillingdon.
