You can now get equivalent level qualifications through Learndirect courses.

Hillingdon Adult Education Centres offer a wide range of Skills for Life and ESOL classes in Hillingdon.

Skills for life courses and qualifications are also offered by ADC College in partnership with Hillingdon Libraries. If enough interest courses may run in selected libraries in Hillingdon.

Certificates in Literacy and Numeracy are of equivalent level to GCSEs and are widely recognised by employers and colleges. Enjoy the extra confidence and benefits that they can provide at work and at home.

Skills for Life courses in Literacy and Numeracy are available free of charge to eligible learners.

A range of other e-Learning courses including the ECDL qualification are available free of charge through ALISON, a new e-Learning portal. Hillingdon libraries offer testing in e-Citizen, ECDL and Advanced ECDL.
