Hillingdon Libraries Learning Team have written a wide range of Helpsheets for you. The 65 pages Beginners section covers a wide range of topics from using a mouse, using Windows, word processing, browsing and searching the web, opening an email account and much more. Whilst the Getting Started section introduces you to using Hillingdon Libraries PCs and to all that is available on them.

Alison ABC IT (1-2-3): this course is for anyone who needs to learn basic computing skills, or has a need to demonstrate to an international standard that they are fully competent in the use of a personal computer and common computer applications. The course is divided into three separate sections called IT-1, IT-2 and IT-3, prefaced by a topic providing an overview of a Personal Computer.

Get started with the basics, learn how to use the Census, search the photo archives or research into the history of your region.
